Global Ideations was founded in Michigan, US in February 2013 and in Istanbul, Turkey in September 2014 by Leilani van Rheenen and Zek Dündar. The mission of Global Ideations is to support the development of individuals, organizations, companies and societies in order to solve problems and reach their full potential. This goal is achieved through multiple methods including training, coaching, mentoring, consulting and public speaking.

Leilani and Zek met at a training for project managers in Ankara, and began working together on various training projects such as “Volunteers of the Future” in İstanbul, “Intercultural Dialogue through Art Photography” in Muş and “Self Directed Learning Seminar” in Italy. After realizing how similar their vision and goals were, they decided to work together to achieve them faster and more efficiently. Their shared priorities are personal development, learning facilitation, creative thinking and social responsibility.
