Reena War

Reena War leads the organisation’s operations, partnerships, and community development initiatives across Meghalaya and the wider Northeast region. With over a decade of experience in sustainable development, rural livelihoods, and natural resource management, Reena has been instrumental in scaling Worldview Impact’s work with smallholder farmers, women’s self-help groups, and indigenous institutions. She oversees the implementation of regenerative agriculture and agroforestry projects, including the Regeneration Meghalaya initiative supported by AstraZeneca, and works closely with the Hill Farmers’ Union and the Hill Farmers’ Shiitake Mushroom Cooperative Society to strengthen farmer collectives and market linkages. Reena’s expertise spans project management, community mobilisation, gender inclusion, and carbon project development.
