Announced around the 2021 UN World Oceans Day — themed The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods — the Earth 300 Tiger Climate Park commits to restoring 300,000 mangrove trees in the Sundarbans of India over three years.
The Sundarbans is the world’s largest mangrove forest and the home of the Bengal tiger. Restoring its degraded edges protects biodiversity and the coastal communities of West Bengal alike.
