London School of Economics Entrepreneurs training workshop in London

The LSE Entrepreneurs hosted a group of 30 students from Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, UK and US on Friday the 15th of February to meet with three London startups. The Founder & CEO of Worldview Impact was one of the speakers who was invited to talk to these Masters students from from 2 hours from 2 - 4pm at the London School of Economics and Political Science. As a social entrepreneur Bremley shared his views on starting up a Social Enterprise in the UK that is working to protect the environment and improve the livelihoods of the poor in developing countries.

These students traveled around Europe and met with startups to discuss and learn about organizational issues. The session at the LSE took the form of a company in Sri Lanka, which Bremley helped to set up based on a problem he faced himself. Then, later after his presentation the students got into groups and brainstorm some ideas before discussing it as a collective with Bremley. Using his experience from the field, Bremley shared with the students what works, what doesn't, and how he went about solving the problem himself.

It was a very stimulating interactive session, and certainly helped Bremley understand the capacity of his company's recruitment targets. For the discussion during the question and answer session it was clear that the students were more interested in the operational and organizational complications of setting up an enterprise, rather than necessarily the scientific details of climate change.
